The PCE-428-EKIT is a Class 2 sound level meter supplied with an outdoor noise monitoring kit. It measures 25 ... 136 dbA over 20 Hz ... 12.5 kHz, with A, B, C, Z frequency weightings and Fast, Slow, Pulse and Peak time weightings. An octave band filter is included, a 1/3 octave band filter is optional.

The meter sits in a waterproof PELI case with rollers, two 12 V lead gel batteries and a charger, giving up to 10 days of measurement. Microphone and power connect externally, so the case stays closed in rain, hail or snow. Use it for workplace, construction site, traffic, airport, road, aircraft, train and event noise.
