The PCE-900 is a portable Leeb hardness tester for nine different metals. A firing pin strikes the metal surface and the intensity of the rebound indicates the material hardness. Readings are shown in six hardness scales: Rockwell B and C, Brinell, Vickers, Shore and Leeb.

The tester is supplied with a type D impact probe as standard. Optional software transfers the readings live to a PC. It is used for material inspection and incoming goods control.
