The Leeb PCE-900 hardness tester measures the hardness of nine different metals using the Leeb bounce method. This means that with the hardness detector a firing pin bounces against a metal surface and the intensity of the bounce is used as an indicator of the hardness of the material. The PCE-900 hardness tester measures the hardness of metal in 5 different hardness scales (Rockwell, Vickers, Leeb, Brinell and Shore, Rockwell measurements are distinguished in B and C). The impact detector is type D. This detector can be used for many measurements. Thanks to the supplied software, the measured values can be transmitted directly to a PC. The meter comes with an ISO calibration certificate, which certifies the accuracy of the measuring device with traceability. This makes the PCE-900 Leeb hardness tester an important tool in the field of material inspection and product control.
