The PCE-CSM 1 colorimeter illuminates the sample from all angles and measures the intensity of the reflected light at an 8° angle from the sample surface. This method is suitable for quality control of the color of a surface regardless of its texture and gloss. The colorimeter allows the user to choose between different color spaces (CIE L*a*b*C*h, CIE L*a*b*, and CIE XYZ) and to save a measurement as a reference value so that it can be compared in the future with any other measurement taken. The PCE-CSM 1 can store up to 100 reference values and up to 20,000 measurements. Measurement data can also be transferred to a computer via USB port. Special computer software is included in the package.
