The PCE-CSM 3 is a colour meter for quality control with very high accuracy. It measures in the CIE L*a*b*C*h and CIE L*a*b* colour spaces. Any reading can be set as a reference value. Further readings are saved as samples and compared with the reference later.
The display shows the individual colour coordinates and the deviation between readings. The meter stores up to 100 reference values and up to 20,000 samples. Data transfers to a PC via USB, and PC software is included. It has an 8 mm measuring aperture, white calibration and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
