The torque meter for bottles was designed to determine the torque of screw caps on bottles and similar containers in a stationary manner. This measurement with the torque meter is particularly important and necessary in the food industry to evaluate the proper sealing of products and ensure their correct preservation.
It does not matter if the torque meter is used in the laboratory or in production. The rotating plate of the torque meter can accommodate samples with a diameter range from 20 to 200 mm. Thanks to the crank it has, samples can be quickly and easily placed on the meter's plate.
The gauge features a display showing the current measured values as well as the peak value (PEAK). Subsequently, thanks to the provided software, the measurement data can be transferred to a computer via USB port and the measurement progress can be graphically and tabularly displayed. The data is stored in the gauge's memory and can be recalled for further processing and analysis, as well as printed at the press of a button via a printer integrated into the device. To avoid printing all measurements at once, the gauge offers the option to limit the measurements.
