The PCE-SG is a handheld refractometer used to determine the specific gravity (sg) of battery acid, the freezing point of propylene or ethylene glycol based refrigerants and cleaning products in degrees Celsius (°C). Maintaining the proper concentration of antifreeze in an engine can prevent costly repairs.
This waterproof digital refractometer (IP65 waterproof) features automatic temperature compensation (ATC) from +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F, as well as a large, easy-to-read LCD display that displays the measured value and temperature simultaneously.
