The PCE-SG is a handheld refractometer used to determine the specific gravity (sg) of battery acid, the freezing point of coolants based on propylene or ethylene glycol, and cleaning products in degrees Celsius (°C). Maintaining the correct antifreeze concentration in an engine can prevent costly repairs.
This waterproof digital refractometer (with IP65 sealing class) features automatic temperature compensation (ATC) from +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F, as well as a large, easy-to-read LCD display that simultaneously shows the measured value and temperature.
