The PCE-DSX 20 is a portable stroboscope for rotational speed, frequency and phase shift. The xenon flash freezes moving parts optically; flash response time 10 … 30 µs. Flash rate is set by rotary knob and buttons: 50 … 35000 FPM, accuracy ±(0.05% of measured value + 2 Dgt). A trigger input allows external triggering or synchronisation; half or double speed is selectable. Mains powered for continuous operation.
For service and maintenance work: speed and vibration measurement and motion observation on bottling and labelling machines (breweries, mineral water), paper and printing machines (register at web speeds above 60 m/min), textile weaving machines, the automotive industry, high-speed machines and motors, shaft concentricity, belts, cylinders, ventilation systems, strip rolling mills.
