The PCE-HM 5000 is a heating mantle for round-bottom flasks with a capacity of up to 5000 ml. It heats and tempers samples, fluids and chemicals in the laboratory. The flask sits in a crocheted net and is heated by a heating element beneath it.

Heating power is 800 W and the temperature range is 0 ... 450 °C. Temperature is set with a stepless rotary switch and held by an integrated controller. Heat-up time stays short, even with the full 5 litres.
