The PCE-IRM 10 battery tester is a compact and easy-to-use device for testing the quality of various battery types such as lithium, alkaline and lead-acid batteries. It automatically tests internal resistance and voltage simultaneously, with the results clearly shown on the 2.4-inch colour display. The voltage and resistance ranges can also be set manually. For reliable measurements it uses a true 4-wire (Kelvin) connection with secure fastening by means of a screw ring.
The pass/fail test function enables a quick assessment of batteries based on predefined limit values. The user can define upper (UL) and lower (LL) limits for voltage and resistance; a green light indicates that the battery meets the criteria, a red light that it does not. Up to 8 limit sets can be saved. Results are saved to the internal memory with date and time and can be exported as a CSV file via the USB-C port, which is also used to charge the device. Suitable for the automotive industry as well as for home users.
