The PCE-LMD 100 is a luminance meter for self-illuminating surfaces such as monitor matrices, TV screens, negatoscopes and reading boards. It measures from 0.00 to 50000 cd/m², regardless of the spatial distribution of the measured luminance or the backlighting of the test surface. Accuracy class A to DIN 5032-7 and TC-2.2 CIE makes it suitable for checking medical screens and negatoscopes.
Readings are logged to the 8 GB micro SD card as a text file, one value after another. The external probe has a multifunction button to trigger a measurement, save results and select the measurement method, for example greyscale testing of monitors to DICOM GSDF.
