The PCE-PH20M is a meat pH meter for measuring pH directly in food and meat. It uses an external pH electrode on a cable and gives fast, accurate readings on a clear display. The robust, waterproof housing (IP 67) allows use in harsh conditions. Recalibration is simple. Automatic calibration runs from the keypad, with no calibration screws, using the optional calibration kits.

A typical use is checking meat quality after slaughter. The pH is measured after 60 minutes (pH1) and after 24 hours (pH24) to detect PSE meat (pH1<5.8) and DFD meat (pH24> 6.2).
