The ultrasonic level indicator is the ideal measuring device for determining the fill level of a silo. Thanks to the 4… 20 mA output signal, the PCE-ULM 10-N24S can be connected to the unit's control system. This allows further processing of the measurement signal by the meter. The ultrasonic level indicator can be used to check whether a silo is still sufficiently full. The high sealing class IP66 guarantees the tightness of the electrical components in case of water leakage.
Depending on the application, the meter can indicate the level or the distance between the medium and the sensor as the measured value, as well as measure the ambient temperature. Also, the free scaling capability of the input signal allows very flexible use of this level indicator. The current measurement result is very easy to read thanks to the large 4-digit LED display.
The optional 24 V sensor supply allows direct connection of 2-wire sensors or transmitters, simplifying the use of this meter. Configuration is done using the freely available LPCon software. With the help of the PD14 program, you can make settings or read the display directly. Settings and configurations created with the software can be saved and recalled again.
