The PCE-MA 60XT is an analytical balance with an integrated moisture analyser. It weighs the sample, dries it and shows the weight loss as moisture content, for a wide range of materials. Sample weight up to 60 g, readability 0.1 mg = 0.0001 g = 0.001 % humidity. An electromagnetic force compensation cell registers the weight loss. A 400 watt halogen ring lamp in the lid gives uniform heat distribution.

To avoid burning the sample, set the drying temperature between 35 °C and 160 °C in 1 °C steps, or use preset parameters from the internal product database, which users can extend and edit. No curve generation is needed, so the balance is ready shortly after set-up.
