The PCE-430 is a portable class 1 sound level meter with a 1/1 octave band filter; a 1/3 octave band filter is an optional upgrade. It measures 22 ... 136 dB(A) from 3 Hz ... 20 kHz and meets IEC 60651:1979, IEC 60804:2000, IEC 61672-1:2013, ANSI S1.4-1983 and ANSI S1.43-1997. The backlit LCD shows the sound pressure level (SPL) numerically and as a live graph.
A built-in data logger records at intervals from 1 s ... 24 h onto a micro SD card, which can be read in a PC card reader or via the USB connection; PC software is included. Used for environmental noise compliance, workplace exposure limits and airport or air force base noise monitoring.
