The contact / non-contact thermometer is used to check the temperature of food. In addition to the surface temperature through the infrared sensor, the thermometer can also be used to determine the core temperature through the folding penetration sensor. Both temperature sensors on the thermometer have a measuring range of -40 ... 300°C / -40 ... 572°F.
In addition to displaying the normal measurement value, the thermometer has a bright temperature display. This reading on the thermometer signals whether the temperature of the food being measured is optimal. If the temperature is between 4 ... 65°C / 39.2 ... 149°F, this is indicated by a red LED. If the temperature is lower than 4°C / 39.2°F or higher than 65°C / 149°F, this is indicated by a green LED.
The Bluetooth interface allows communication between the thermometer and an Android and iOS mobile device. Measured values can be recorded with a handheld device and exported for later analysis. In order to charge the thermometer, it can be connected to the charging base. If necessary, the thermometer can also be charged via micro USB 5 V.
