The contact/non-contact thermometer is used to check the temperature of food. In addition to surface temperature via the infrared sensor, the thermometer can also be used to determine the core temperature via the foldable penetration sensor. Both temperature sensors in the thermometer have a measuring range of -40 ... 300°C / -40 ... 572°F.
In addition to displaying the normal measurement value, the thermometer has an illuminated temperature indicator. This indicator on the thermometer signals whether the temperature of the measured food is optimal. If the temperature is between 4 … 65°C / 39.2 ... 149°F, this is indicated by a red LED. If the temperature is below 4°C / 39.2°F or above 65°C / 149°F, this is indicated by a green LED.
The Bluetooth interface allows communication between the thermometer and any Android and iOS device. The measured values can be recorded with a portable device and exported for later analysis. To charge, the thermometer can be connected to the charging base. If necessary, the thermometer can also be charged via micro USB 5 V.
