The PCE-428 is a class 2 data-logging sound level meter that meets IEC 60651:1979, IEC 60804:2000, IEC 61672-1:2013, ANSI S1.4-1983 and ANSI S1.43-1997. It measures 25 ... 136 dB(A) from 20 Hz ... 12.5 kHz, with A, B, C and Z frequency weightings and fast, slow and impulse time weightings. The backlit LCD shows sound pressure level (SPL) numerically and graphically in real time. A 1/1 octave band filter is standard; a 1/3 octave band filter upgrade is optional.
Readings are logged at intervals from 1 s ... 24 h to a micro SD card. Read the card on a PC or connect the meter directly via USB; PC software is included. Used to check environmental noise regulations and workplace noise exposure limits.
