Description

Type K surface thermocouple with a flat ribbon sensor. The ribbon sits against the surface across its full width, rather than touching at a single point like a rounded tip. Contact is better, heat loss is lower, and the reading stays closer to the surface's true temperature.

That construction gives a response time of under half a second, among the fastest of any surface probe, across a -75°C to 250°C range.

A 90° angled version and a coiled lead are available to order.
