Description

External micrometers - specialized measuring instruments designed for inspecting gear teeth. They feature large, flat disc-shaped measuring faces that allow the determination of the distance between teeth (Wk measurement). They are used to verify the geometry and accuracy of gears in machining applications.

Technical Specifications

  • Accuracy: Better than or in accordance with the DIN 863 standard.

  • Reading: 0.01 mm.

  • Measuring Faces: Hardened steel, perfectly flat (carbide tips on request for specific models).

  • Diameter of Measuring Faces:

    • Ø 25mm (for Modul 0.8 – 6).

    • Ø 30mm (for Modul 0.8 – 10).

    • Ø 20mm (for the ULTRA active series, Modul 0.8 – 6).

  • Spindle Pitch: 0.5mm or 1.0mm (depending on the model).

  • Drive Mechanism:

    • Friction clutch on the standard models.

    • Ratchet stop on the ULTRA active models.

  • Spindle Lock: With ring or with lever (ULTRA active).

  • Reading Parts: Matte chrome to avoid reflections.

  • Other Features: Thermally insulating hand guards.

  • Includes: Case (setting standard not included).

  • Measuring Range: Models available from 0-25mm to 275-300mm (the ULTRA active models up to 125-150mm).
