The PCE-VM 5000 is a 4-channel vibration data logger. It measures acceleration, velocity and displacement on 4 channels at once, using remote vibration sensors. The frequency range is 10 Hz to 1 kHz. A large backlit LCD shows all four channels. The device is sensitive, but its rugged design gives many years of service.
Readings are saved to an SD card, automatically or manually. You can then transfer the data to a computer and analyse it in Excel. Selectable units: m/s², g and ft/s² for acceleration; mm/s, cm/s and inches/s for velocity; mm and inches for displacement.
