The PCE-432 is a class 1 data-logging sound level meter with integrated GPS, so every reading can be assigned to an exact location. It measures 22 ... 136 dB(A) at 3 Hz ... 20 kHz and meets IEC 60651:1979, IEC 60804:2000, IEC 61672-1:2013, ANSI S1.4-1983 and ANSI S1.43-1997.
The backlit LCD shows sound pressure level (SPL) numerically and graphically in real time. It offers A, B, C and Z frequency weightings and fast, slow and impulse time weightings, with a 1/1 octave band filter as standard and a 1/3 octave filter as an optional upgrade. Readings are logged at intervals from 1 s ... 24 h to a micro SD card, and the meter connects to a PC by USB for analysis with the supplied software. Used for environmental noise compliance, workplace exposure limits and airport and air force base noise monitoring.
