Cylindrical gauges specially designed for measurements where the shaft cannot be removed.
Bore gauges are comparative precision instruments for checking internal diameters of holes and cylinders, indicating deviation from a nominal size. They are first set using a micrometer or setting ring, then used to evaluate taper, out-of-roundness and wear directly on the part.
Available as sets or individual tools, across multiple diameter ranges, with mechanical indication or dial indicator readout, and with interchangeable measuring heads/tips. Options from Insize, Peacock & Tacachiho for both lab and shop-floor inspection.
Well suited for QC in machine shops, CNC machining and maintenance, where repeatability and fast tolerance checks are critical.
