TN--16 inserts are 60° negative triangular turning inserts (TNMA/TNMG) designed for stable external and internal lathe operations, offering high edge strength and reliability in interrupted cuts. Insert geometry and chipbreaker control chip flow and surface finish.
Available in multiple chipbreakers and carbide grades with coatings tailored to steel, stainless, cast iron or non‑ferrous materials, plus different nose radii for roughing or finishing, from Yg, Echain & Taegutec.
When selecting, match grade and chipbreaker to the workpiece material, depth of cut and feed rate to maximize tool life and machining consistency.
