Flatness gauges are used for visual flatness inspection, or with the use of feeler gauges. They are divided into knife-edge, flat, and H-type. They come in various qualities (flatness accuracy) based on the DIN 874 standard. These categories are in order GG2 (lowest) GG2 - GG1 - GG0 - GG00 (highest)
